Dr. Hrymoc treats addiction throughout all its stages:
intervention
detoxification
initiation and maintenance of sobriety
Treatment typically starts with a phone conversation with a prospective client or concerned loved ones. If appropriate, an initial visit is scheduled, where Dr. Hrymoc meets with the client and his or her family, if available.
The main goal of this visit is to assess the client's history and current situation and to create a comprehensive but feasible treatment plan.
Dr. Hrymoc is knowledgable about residential treatment programs but also experienced in creating individualized outpatient treatment plans.
He understands and respects the fact that sometimes taking 30 to 90 days out of one's life for a treatment program is not always possible or necessary.
An outpatient care plan can include:
medications for drug/alcohol craving and psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, or insomnia
individual psychotherapy
couples or family therapy
group therapy
random drug-testing
participation in 12-step or other community support meetings
All services provided by Dr. Hrymoc take place in his office at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on a personalized, private, one-on-one basis.
